No 2 Welsh Wing NCO course success... An excellent performance from Cpl Becca Williams during the recent 2 Welsh Wing Senior NCO training course. Cpl Williams really set the standard and excelled in all aspects of the course, culminating in a graduation parade at which Cpl Williams was selected by the Wing Warrant Officer to take on the coveted role of Parade Commander. Reviewing Officer Wing Commander John Goggin, OC 2 Welsh Wing commented that all of the cadets on parade were a credit to their squadrons and congratulated them on their efforts.
NCO training courses are extremely hard work for cadets attending and competition for places is fierce. During the course, candidates are instructed in Leadership theory, presentation skills, drill and drill instruction, the role of an NCO, dress and deportment. All of which are then assessed through a series of leadership exercises, syndicate presentations and lots of time out on the parade square under the watchful eye of the Wing Warrant Officer.
