Wing Training Day 2009

Great effort at WTD What a great effort by all at this weekends' Wing Training Day. 10 cadets from 1251 attended and all were a credit to the unit and themselves. A fantastic result in winning the leadership competition and all round congratulations to all that attended. The leadership team will now have to start preparing and training in readiness for Septembers Regional training day...lots of work to do yet!

Also congratulations go to Cpl Edwards who was presented with the inaugural awarding of the 2 Welsh Wing Best NCO trophy. This award presnted by the Wing Warrant Officer is to be made annually to the best candidate attending an NCO course over the past 12-months. Competition was fierce but Cpl Edwards proved that she has the right stuff.

1251 is a force to be reckoned with, thanks to all cadets and staff that work so hard to continually strive to improve our units standing in the Wing.
